Application period for the 2017 Scholarships and Miss Polonia is now open.
The Westchester Pulaski Association Inc., an organization founded to promote the Polish heritage, is again offering scholarship awards to college bound high school seniors of Polish descent residing in Westchester County. We also created a new annual scholarship in 2016 specifically for college students pursuing a major in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education in memory of our former President, Ronald L. Baker, which will be awarded for the second time this year. The student recognition awards will be presented along with the scholarships at the 2017 Annual Awards Luncheon. Since the inception of the general scholarship program in 1977, over 348 College Scholarships have been awarded.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2017 Miss Polonia to represent the Polish community of Westchester at the various programs held throughout the year. Young Polish women or American women of Polish descent, who at least 18 years of age may submit an application for this prestigious title.
Citizen of the Year recognition awards will be presented to area citizens for service to our community at the 2017 Annual Awards Luncheon.
Check back in the coming weeks for further information regarding the Annual Awards Luncheon.
